We are looking for an Interface Manager located in Madrid Home Office.
Requirements:
– Bachelor Degree in Engineer
– Minimum 10 years of experience in oil&gas big EPC projects (oil&gas, LNG, pipelines, offshore, refinery, petrochemical…) from main contractor side.
– High level of English
– Availability for expatriation to sites around the world during construction phase (approx. 1.5 to 2 years).
– Excellent Communication Skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Developing, setting-up and managing the CONTRACTOR’s Interfaces system (procedures, organization, tools).
– Identifying all information to be exchanged with interface parties with required dates and formalizing through IRF (Interface Request Form).
– Distributing and expediting the IRF.
– Keeping the Interface Register up-to date.
– Ensuring that responses to IRF have been internally approved by technical leaders prior to issuance.
– Ensuring that interface information is exchanged in a timely manner with sufficient accuracy to allow each interfacing party to progress their scope of work.
– Calling for interface coordination meetings when required.
– Promptly identifying interface issues with potential cost or schedule impact.
– Alerting the Project Manager (and/or his Deputy) on potential interface overruns/delays so that corrective actions can be implemented in due time.
