Project Leader

Global Energy Company with presence in over 50 countries is looking for a Project Leader for monitoring and controlling the manufacturing of towers in external sub-contractors.

Areas of responsibility
The job as Project Leader involves:
• Managing outsourced manufacturing of turbine towers
• Responsible for coordinating wind turbine tower production with external sub-contractors
• Cross functional collaboration with stakeholders of the towers supply chain (from Material Purchasing to towers production and delivery). Coordinate shipments of finished sections
Qualifications and requirements
• An Engineering degree id preferred although a Bachelor of Science degree with relevant experience will be also considered.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Project Manager in construction or in a manufacturing/ production contexts.
• Knowledge regarding production and steel manufacturing processes will be considered a plus.
• Knowledge about supply chain management, supplier relations management and other improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc) is an advantage.
• Advanced level of Spanish and English both written and spoken
