Fire Protection Engineers

Qualifications:

– Bachelor Degree in Engineer

Experience-Industry:

– Minimum 3 years of experience in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry (Preferred > 5 years)
– Experience in FEED Projects and EPC Projects

Skills:

– Active fire protection – specification, P&ID, General arrangements, layout and requisitions.
– Fixed system pre-designs (fixed water based system, powder systems, steam system and fixed gas extinguishing systems) and estimated materials take off.
– Performance and interpretation of Hydraulic calculations (HASS, PIPENET, etc.)
– Identification of fire hazardous areas.
– Identification of Fire Potential Equipment and performance of fire potential equipment drawings.
– Application of Standards.
– Firewater Demand Calculation.
– Fire detection equipment – specifications and layout
– Fire detection system pre-design
– Block diagrams, wiring diagrams and cause and effect matrix preparation.
– Great experience in check vendor documentation
– Application of international codes including: NFPA, GOST, API, ASME.
– Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and different nationalities.

IT Skills:

– Autocad and/or Microstation (medium level)
– Desirable: 3D Model (Knowledge in Smart Plant and/or PDS)
